We don't pick you up at the port.
The Costa Maya Port is privately owned and under the control of the cruise lines, local companies don't have access to the port complex nor have representatatives there. Visitors using any local service must expect to walk outside of the port to find their service provider.
Our tours depart from The Native Choice Kiosk located a few steps outside the port entrance.
Our tour confirmations include detailed directions and a map so you can get to our location easily when you arrive.
Be aware
Some of our past guests have been misinformed when asking about us inside the port, this is expected since we are a local company not affiliated to the cruise excursions. Please ensure you understand the directions to our meeting point.
At the end of the tour we offer a courtesy stop at Mahahual for our guests who want to explore the town, have a little beach time, lunch or do a some shopping before going back to the ship, or we can drop you off a few steps from the port entrance.
Directions for hotel guests
Guests staying at hotels in the Costa Maya area, Mahahual and Bacalar only need to wait at the lobby of their hotel, the guide and driver will be there at the time specified on the tour confirmation.
At the end of the tour we can drop you off back at your hotel, Mahahual village or Bacalar town depending on what you have planned for the rest of the day.
